This was in the Gila last summer. I like the expressions on the cows faces and particularly like the line of cows on the horizon ... like Indians in an old western. I have tried this in black and white but it seems to lose some of the appeal.
The color rendering makes it look like a 1950's calendar or magazine print. The greens are really blue-green-ish and the sky is super-saturated in blues. Makes me want to photoshop in the 'Eat Mor Chikin'.

ReplyDeleteI love the composition here. The clouds create a "ceiling" of sorts, helping to frame the top of the image, and both cows are facing into the frame.
